Taking Steps...

Hello Everyone-

I hope everyone is well.  I am still looking for a Nursing position. On my downtime,  I am writing and recording more songs.  I am preparing to take the next step which is to enter songwriting contests in the hopes of getting some feedback! I hope that everyone is enjoying the new music on the myspace page! Since I think that this will be the last posting before the new year, I would like to wish everyone Happy Holidays!!

Stuck in the Process

Hello Everyone-

I have written and recorded three new songs.  I am debating when to put them up on the myspace page because I see that the songs that I have put up have not been played yet.... I am happy that people are interested in my music... thank you for that... I just wish that I knew if I am good at this.... I need some feedback- whether it is positive or negative in order for me to develop and grow.... I am after all taking a chance on a dream... I need something to keep my hopes up.... I hope everyone is well!!!

A Season Of Changes

A Time to Reflect and Give Thanks

Hello Everyone! Over the past couple of weeks, a lot has happened.... I went to see the movie " The Blind Side"- it left me thinking about how we only have one life and that we need to make sure that we make the best of it.  It was an incredibly uplifting and touching story that reminds me of the true meaning of the holidays!! I am grateful for the wonderful family and friends that are in my life!! I have been writing songs and hope to get them online soon!! The job hunt is still going- hoping for good news soon!! Ultimately, I am still trying to progress through all of the challenges but I am staying optimistic about it!!!

Being Persistent In the Process

Hey Everyone-

There are three new songs on the Myspace Page- " All That Remains", " Mother" and " Here's To the Good Old Days". I would like to have those listening to the songs recommend what songs I should put to a CD to make an album. Forward Progress

I updated the myspace page last night- uploading photos and a new background. I am hoping to add new songs at the end of the week... I wrote about twenty songs over the last two weeks. It is nice to take emotions and shape them into a song. I also like that you can take things that happen in everyday life and incorporate them into lyrics. Some of the best songs that exist leave a level of mystery to them. Hope everyone is well!!

Regaining what I lost

Yesterday was a great day for me. I had my ten year high school reunion and I will admit I was nervous. Life works in funny ways and it seemed like it was 1997 to me all over again. Great times with great people and it was exactly like how I remembered it. I never thought I had a profound impact on people until last night. In the two short years that I went to school with my classmates, they not only remembered me but made me feel like I belonged. That in itself is a gift. Our family has moved a lot but this was the first time that I felt like people accepted me for how I was. It was a wonderful night and I hope to catch up with all of you soon!!
