Since my first post, I have recorded two more songs. I have also been trying to learn to play the guitar. That is a work in progress. It is actually great to have some sort of release- some people like to keep a journal, for me it is writing poems that I try to translate into songs.
I actually went swimming last night for the first time this summer. I have just been so busy with everything and Summer seems to go by so quickly. I will say that there is no shortage of things to write about. Plus I will have some extra time now that I do not have to go back to school. Will keep you updated on my progress!

My name is Sarah Burke and I recently graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. During the four years I studied, writing was a form of relaxation and helped me to become an aspiring singer/songwriter. Music has always been an important part of my life.
